ऋगर्थदीपिका सेयं प्रथमश्चायमष्टकः । कर्ता श्रीवेङ्कटार्यस्य तनयो माधवाह्वयः ॥ ऋगर्थदीपिका सेयं द्वितीयश्चायमष्टकः । चक्रे श्रीवेङ्कटार्यस्य तनयो माधवाह्वयः ॥ ऋगर्थदीपिका सेयं पञ्चमश्चायमष्टकः । कर्ता श्रीवेङ्कटार्यस्य तनयो माधवाह्वयः ।। ऋगर्थदीपिका सेयं तथा षष्ठोऽयमष्टकः । कर्ता श्रीवेङ्कटार्यस्य तनयो माधवाह्वयः ॥ ऋगर्थदीपिका सेयं सप्तमश्चायमष्टकः । कर्ता श्रीवेङ्कटार्यस्य तनयो माधवाह्वयः ।।
At the end of each Astaka, Venkata Madhava himself entitles his commentary as Rgarthadipikā. There is no reason as to why this name of the commentary should be suppressed. P. Sāstri is therefore not justified in calling the commentary of VenkataMādhava as simply a vyākhyāna. It should be described by its proper name, i.e., Rgartbadipika.
P. Šāstrī has the priority of publishing the commentary of Venkata Mādhava, although he has so far published the first two chapters of the first Astaka only.
Even these are not free from misprints and grammatical errors. I give below a list of misprints which should have been corrected, but unfortunately no Errata has been added.
