DAILY RECITATIONS
I. The Namokāra Mantra
ṇamo Arahaṁtāṇaṁ, ṇamo Siddhāṇam, namo Airiyāṇaṁ, namo Uvajjhāyāṇam, ṇamo loe savva-sahūņam.
Obeisance to the Arhats (Perfect souls, Godmen), obeisance to the Siddhas (Liberated, bodiless souls), obeisance to the Masters (Heads of Congregations), obeisance to the Teachers (Ascetic Teachers), obeisance to all the Ascetic Aspirants, in the universe.
Eso pamca-namoyāro savva-pāvappaṇāsaṇo, mamgalanam ca savvesim paḍhamam havai mamgalam.
This five-fold obeisance mantra destroys all demerit, and is the first and foremost of all auspicious recitations.
II. Mamgalottama-sarana
Cattari mamgalam: Arahamtā maṁgalam, Siddhā maṁgalam, Sahu mamgalam, Kevali-pannatto dhammo mangalam.
Cattari loguttama: Arahamta loguttama, Siddha longuttamā, Sāhū loguttamā, Kevali-pannatto dhammo loguttamā.
Cattari saraṇam pavvajjāmi: Arahamte saraṇam pavvajjāmi, Siddhe saranam pavvajjāmi, Sahū saraṇam-pavvajjāmi, Kevalipannattam dhammam saranam pavvajjāmi.
