त्यक्तस्वधर्माचरणा निघृणाः परपीडकाः।
चण्डाश्च हिंसका नित्यं म्लेच्छास्ते ह्यविवेकिनः॥ - अपना धर्म छोडने वाले बेरिहम दूसरों को सताने हारे झगडालु वा तुन्दखू हमेशा हिंसा वा वध करने हारे वेतमीज लोग मलेच्छ कहाते हैं।

दृग् अमात्यः सुहृच् छोत्रं मुखं कोशो बलं मनः। हस्तौ पादौ दुर्गराष्ट्र राज्यांगानि स्मृतानि हि॥

यदि न स्यान नरपतिः सम्यङ् नेता ततः पूजा। अकर्णधारा जलधौ विप्लवेतेह नौरिव ॥
लोगों का पालक (राजा) अच्छा सरदार न हो तो लोग वरवाद होनाते है जैसे खेवट के विना नाव समुद्र में डूब जाती है।
