The more you give, the more you get The more you laugh, the less you fret -- The more you do unselfishly The more you do abundantly.
The more of everything, you share, The more you'll always, have to spare ---
The more you love, The more you'll find That life is good And friends are kind....
For only what we give away Enriches us from day to day.
Lives of great men all remind us We can make our life sublime, And departing leave behind us, Footprints in the sands of time.
Footprints that perhaps another, Sailing o'er life o' solemn main, A forlorn and shipwrecked brother, Seeing, shall take heart again.
Let us then be up and doing With a heart for any fate, Still achieving, still pursuing, Learn to labour and to wait.
