________________ 40 अवश्य बदला लूंगा। Once with due permissions of the Bhagawan, he began carrying out meditation in the Kayotsarg posture, in a cemetary. By chance, his father-in-law (of his worldly life) by name Somil happened to be passing by. He was extremely angry when he saw his son-in-law in the clothes of a Sadhu. He thought, "this fellow has ruined the life of my daughter by leaving her in the lurch. Now, I have to change him, I have to teach him a lesson."Somil decided to punish Gajasukumal Muni. He made small muddy boundary on the Muni's head and put burning charcoal into it. The head of the Muni began to burn He began to experience great pain and anguish but the Muni's heart did not burn. He began to think thus, "In this Samsar (world) people get fathers-in-law; but only I have seared a father-in-law who is helping me to wear the turben of Moksha. How fortunate I am!" By the very means of such lofty contemplations, Gajaskumal Muni attained Kevalgyan; and just then his life-span also ended. The great Muni attained Moksha. His mother's wish that he should not get another mother thus came true. Gajasukumal Muni attained liberation from this Samsar (the world). The Moral of the story: We should never deviate from the pursuit of our objectives.
