શ્રી જૈન ધર્મ પ્રકાશ,
During the past two or three months, there has been a succession of cases of this character, from which we are forced to draw the inference that the Thakor Sahob is determined to exasperate the Jain Commit nity. The first case was that of Mr. Laubert, who refused to comply with the request of the temple authorities to take off his leather shoes, when cut ring the temples. The next case was that of Sir Bhalchaudra Krishna who refugel to take off his shos, saying that as he was a guest of the Thakor Saheb and that the latter had expressly for 'den him t> take off his shoes when entering the temples, he could not comply with tho request of the temple authorities, without disobeying his host. We confess we land ex pected better things from a man of Sir B a'chandra's position and unimpeachable ortho loxy. We next come to the case of Mr. Chichgor. a Parsi Jo rualit of Bombay and another guest of Thakor Saheb who like. wise refused to take off his shoes and put on canvas shoes when he visited the temples Fially there was the case of Prince Ranjitsinghji, the famous cricketer an his companions some of whom were Europ ans who were also the guests of Thokor Saheb, and who refuse to remove their 1 ather shoes, with the result that the gates of the temples were shut against them and they had to go away with ut being allowed see anything. It appears that every one of thes: visi tors stated that their refusal to comply with the request of the temple authorities was due to the express instruction they had receive from their host, should like to know what Thakor Saleb has
