IN MEMORIAM GEORGE BÜHLER.
As already observed, the use of the Passive construction of the Past Tense of Transitive verbs appears to be dying out. The Agent form of the personal pronouns is still usually employed before these tenses, but all traces of the Agent case have disappeared from the noun. The feeling for Gender, too, is very weak. Thus we have mai tairó (instead of tairi) khazmat kió (instead of ki) hai, I have done thy service; so we have jili kiô, instead of jili ki, he shouted.
