________________ THE CHRONOLOGICAL SYSTEMS OF GUJARAT Thus the known dates of the Aṣṭādaśaśata Mandala (excluding Mt. Abu region) indicate great predilection for expired and Kärttikadi years, but that is not the case with Amanta months, the systems of Amanta and Pūrṇimānta months appear to be in vogue here almost in an equal proportion. The former obviously indicates the bearing of the solanki kingdom in Gujarat while the latter implies that of the Pūrṇimānta kingdom in Rajasthan. 204 The Purnimanta months having a numerical preponderance over them.
