given week-day according to any of the systems, it follows that some particular in it is recorded or read wrongly. Either the tithi should be corrected into 2 or the week-day should be corrected into 'Soma'. Accordingly, the tithi may be referred to the expired Kärttikādi system and equated with either Monday, 13 March, A.C. 1290 or Tuesday, 14 March, A.C. 1290.
As regards the systems of months 8 dates throw light on it. Of them 5 apply to Amānta months and 3 to Pūrņimānta months. 2 Amānta dates and 1 Pūrņimānta date belong to Kārttikādi
