We do not have any confirmation of this fact about Asita, Devala, or Asita Devala from any other source and are not in a position to offer
any explanation of it. 31. The Isibhāsiyai has bhaviyavvam khalu bho savvalevāvvateņam, whereas the
Isimandala reads bhaviyavvam bho khalu sauva-kāma-viraena'eyam ajjhayanam bhäsittu Devilāsuya rāyarisi siva suhan patto.
