As a result of the sermons of Acharya Tulsiramji 621 millionaires and multi-millionaires, mostly of the Marwari community adopted a solemn vow abjuring the practices of blackmarketing, adulteration in articles of food, counterfeiting coins, obtaining bogus ration cards, publishing false advertisements, accepting or offering bribes, travelling without tickets, gambling, attempting suicide, using man-drawn vehicles, making false state ment in the course of sale or purchase of land, house, beasts, birds, gold, silver, grain, ghee, oil, flour, milk eto, signing false documents. They also vowed not to marry beyond the age of 45. These vows have provisionally been adopted for the period of one year. "We hope that the von's will be renewed from yearto year and finally adopted for life, and further the circle of the members of the Anuvrati Sangh will widen from time to time and grow in magnitude so as to become an All India organisation, irrespective of caste consideration. An Anuvrati could, Acharya Tulsiramji "observed, redeem the world from its vices, and raise Jainism to a very high pedestal in public estimation in all countries. “Hoarding, cornering and black-marketing will disppaear. A citizen of India will in the words of saint Tukaram say "my wealth is not so small as could be kept in a box or a house. It is therfore kept in all houses.
