પ્રેમ પૈવંત ને દયાળુ છે. તેનામાં ઈર્ષ્યા કે અસૂયા નથી. તે કદી અભિમાન કરતું નથી કે બડાઈ મારતે નથી. પ્રેમ કયારેય પણ ગરમ સ્વભાવવાળ નથી, સ્વાથી નથી તેમ ઉદ્ધત પણ નથી. તે પિતાને જ અનુકૂળ એવી માગણી કરતું નથી, પ્રેમ ક્રોધ કે ચીડીયાપણુને વશ થતો નથી. સત્યને જય થાય છે ત્યારે પ્રેમ આનંદ મગ્ન થાય છે. આ
