________________ पंचास्तिकाय प्राभृत २८९ सं०ता० अथ पृथ्वीकायिकादीनां पंचानामेकेन्द्रियत्वं नियमयति-- एते प्रत्यक्षीभूता जीवनिकायाः पंचविधाः पृथ्वीकायिकादयो जीवाः । ते कथंभूताः ? मनः परिणामविरहिताः- न केवलं मनः परिणामविरहिता एकेन्द्रियाश्च । कस्मिन् सतीत्थंभूताः भणिताः । वीर्यांतरायस्पर्शनेन्द्रियावरणक्षयोपशमलाभात् शेषेन्द्रियावरणोदये नोइन्द्रियावरणोदये च सतीति । अत्र सूत्रे विश्वोपाधिविमुक्तशुद्धसत्तामाप्रदेशकेन निश्चयनयेन यद्यपि पृथ्व्यादि पंचभेदरहिता जीवास्तथापि व्यवहारनयेनाशुद्धमनोगतरागाद्यपध्यानसहितेन शुद्धमनोगतस्वसंवेदनज्ञानरहितेन यद्वद्धमेकेन्द्रियजातिनामकर्म तदुदयेनामनसः एवेकेन्द्रियाश्च भवतीत्यभिप्रायः ॥ ११२ ॥ हिंदी ता०- - उत्थानिका- आगे ऐसा नियम करते हैं कि पाँचों पृथ्वीकायिक आदि एकेंद्रिय ही होते हैं अन्वय सहित सामान्यार्थ -- ( एदे ) ये ( पुढविकाइयादीया ) पृथ्वीकायिक आदि ( पंचविहा) पाँच प्रकारके ( जीवणिकाया ) जीवोंके समूह (मणपरिणामविरहिदा ) मनके भावोंसे शून्य ( एगेंदिया जीता ) एकेंद्रिय जीव ( प्रणिता ) कहे गए हैं। विशेषार्थ - वीर्यान्तराय और स्पर्शनेन्द्रिय आवरण मतिज्ञानके क्षयोपशमके लाभसे तथा अन्य इन्द्रिय आवरणके उदयसे तथा नोइन्द्रिय आवरणके उदयसे ये जीव स्पर्शन इन्द्रिय मात्रके धारी एकेंद्रिय होते हैं । यहाँ यह अभिप्राय है कि सर्व उपाधिसे रहित शुद्ध सत्ता मात्र पदार्थको कहनेवाली निश्चयनयसे यद्यपि जीव पृथिवी आदि पाँच भेदोंसे शून्य हैं तथापि व्यवहारनयसे ये जीव एकेन्द्रिय जाति नामा नामकर्मके उदयसे मनरहित एकेन्द्रिय होते हैं । इस एकेन्द्रिय जाति नामकर्म का बन्ध तब होता है जब शुद्ध मनसे प्राप्त स्वसंवेदन ज्ञान न होकर अशुद्ध मनमें होनेवाला राग आदि रूप अपध्यान होता है ।। ११२ । । एकेन्द्रियाणां चैतन्यास्तिस्थे दृष्टांतोपन्यासोऽयम् । अंडेसु पवडुंता गब्भत्था माणुसा य मुच्छगया । जारिसया तारिसया जीवा एगेंदिया णेया ।। ११३ ।। अंडेषु प्रवर्धमाना गर्भस्था मानुषाश्च मूच्छ गताः । यादृशास्तादृशा जीवा एकेन्द्रिया ज्ञेयाः । । ११३ । । अंडांतलींनानां, गर्भस्थानां मूर्च्छितानां च बुद्धिपूर्वकव्यापारादर्शनेऽपि येन प्रकारेण जीवत्वं निश्चीयते, तेन प्रकारेणैकेन्द्रियाणामपि उभयेषामपि बुद्धिपूर्वकव्यापारादर्शनस्य समानत्वादिति । । ११३ ।। 7
