षड्द्रव्य - पंचास्तिकायवर्णन
दोषरहित, अनंत चतुष्टय सहित श्री वर्द्धमानस्वामी हैं । उत्तरतंत्रकर्ता चार ज्ञानधारी व सात ऋद्धिपूर्ण श्री गौतमस्वामी गणधर हैं। उत्तरोत्तर कर्ता यथासंभव बहुत हैं । भावार्थ - यहाँ इस ग्रन्थके कर्ता श्री कुन्दकुन्दाचार्य हैं। कर्त्ता इसलिये कहते हैं कि कर्ताकी प्रमाणतासे उसके वचनोंकी प्रमाणता होती है। इस तरह संक्षेपसे मंगल, निमित्त, हेतु, परिमाण, नाम और कर्त्ता - इन छः भेदोंका वर्णन किया गया। इस तरह मंगलके लिये इष्टदेवताके नमस्कार सम्बन्धी गाथा पूर्ण हुई ।
समय- व्याख्या गाथा २
समयो ह्यागमः । तस्य प्रणामपूर्वकमात्मनाभिधानमत्र प्रतिज्ञातम् । समण मुहुग्गद- मठ्ठे चदुग्गदि णिवारणं सणिव्वाणं ।
एसो प्रणय सिरसा समय-मिमं सुणह वोच्छामि ।। २ ।। श्रमणमुखाद्गतार्थं चतुर्गतिनिवारणं सनिर्वाणम् ।
एष प्रणम्य शिरसा समयमिमं शृणुत वक्ष्यामि || २ ||
युज्यते हि स प्रणन्तुमभिधातुं चाप्तोपदिष्टत्वे सति सफलत्वात् । तत्राप्तोपदिष्टत्वमस्य श्रमणमुखोद्गतार्थत्वात् । श्रमणा हि महाश्रमणाः सर्वज्ञवीतरागाः । अर्थः पुनरनेकशब्द संबन्धेनाभिधीयमानो वस्तुतयैकोऽभिधेयः । सफलत्वं तु चतसृणां नारकतिर्यङ्मनुष्यदेवत्वलक्षणानां गतीनां निवारणत्वात् पारतंत्र्यनिवृत्तिलक्षणस्य निर्वाणस्य शुद्धात्मतत्त्वोपलम्भरूपस्य परम्परया कारणत्वात् स्वातन्त्र्यप्राप्तिलक्षणस्य च फलस्य सद्भावादिति । । २ । ।
हिन्दी समय व्याख्या गाथा- २
अन्वयार्थ -- ( श्रमणमुखोद्गतार्थं ) श्रमण के मुख से निकले हुए अर्थमय ( सर्वज्ञ महामुनि के मुख से कहे हुए पदार्थों का कथन करनेवाले ) ( चतुर्गतिनिवारणं ) चार गति का निवारण करनेवाले और ( सनिर्वाणम् ) निर्वाण सहित (निर्वाण के कारणभूत ) [ इमं समयं ] ऐसे इस समय को [ शिरसा प्रणम्य ] शिर झुका कर प्रणाम करके ( एष वक्ष्यामि ) मैं उसका कथन करूँगा [ शृणुत] उसे तुम लोग सुनो।
टीका - समय अर्थात् आगम, उसे प्रणाम करके मैं उसका कथन करूँगा । ऐसी यहाँ प्रतिज्ञा की है । वह (समय) प्रणाम करने एवं कथन करने योग्य है, क्योंकि वह आप्त द्वारा उपदिष्ट होने से सफल है। वहाँ उसका आप्त द्वारा उपदिष्टपना इसलिये है कि वह श्रमण ( सर्वज्ञ ) के मुख से निकला हुआ अर्थ-मय ( पदार्थ का कथन करनेवाला) है । 'श्रमण' अर्थात् महाश्रमण- सर्वज्ञ वीतराग देव, और 'अर्थ' अर्थात् अनेक शब्दोंके सम्बन्धसे कहा जानेवाला वस्तुरूप से एक ऐसा पदार्थ ।
