सोफ के आठ मध्य प्रदेशों को अपने शरीर के मध्य प्रदेश बनाकर उत्पन्न हुआ और मर गया । वही जीव उसी अवगाहना को लेकर वहां दुबारा उत्पन्न हुआ और मर गया । इस प्रकार घनांगुल के असंख्यातवें भाग क्षेत्र में जितने प्रदेश होते हैं, उतनी बार उसी अवगाहना को लेकर वहां उत्पन्न हुआ और मर गया । उसके बाद एक-एक प्रदेश बढ़ाते-बढ़ाते जब समस्त लोकाकाश के प्रदेशों को अपना जन्मक्षेत्र बना लेता है तो उसने काल को एक क्षेत्रपरिवर्तन करते हैं।
काल-परिवर्तन-एक जीव उत्सपिणी काल के प्रथम समय में उत्पन्न हुआ और आयु पूरी करके मर गया। वही जीव दुसरी उत्सर्पिणी के दूसरे समय में उत्पन्न हुना और आयु पूरी हो जाने में बाद मर गया । वही जीव नीसरी उत्सपिणी के तीसरे समय में उत्पन्न हुआ और उसी तरह मर गया । इस प्रकार यह उत्सर्पिणी काल के समस्त समयों में उत्पन्न हुआ और इसी प्रकार अवसर्पिणी काल के समस्त समयों में उत्पन्न हुआ। उत्पत्ति की तरह मुत्यु का भी क्रम पूरा किया। अर्थात् पहली उत्सपिणी के पहले समय में मरा, दूसरी उत्सपिणी के दूसरे समय में मरा, इसी प्रकार पहली अवसर्पिणी के पहले समय में मरा, दूसरी अवसर्पिणी के दूसरे समय में मरा । इस प्रकार जितने समय में उत्सर्पिणी और अवसपिणी काल के समस्त समयों को अपने जन्म और मृत्यु से स्पृष्ट कर लेता है, उतने समय का नाम कालपरिवर्तन है।
भवपरिवर्तन - नरकगति में सबसे जघन्य आयु दस हजार वर्ष की है । कोई जीव उतनी आयु लेकर नरक में उत्पन्न हुआ। मरने के बाद नरक से निकलकर पुनः उसी आयु को लेकर दुबारा नरक में उत्पन्न हुआ। इस प्रकार दस हजार वर्ष के जितने समय होते हैं, उतनी बार उसी आयु को लेकर नरक में उत्पन्न हआ। उसके बाद एक समय अधिक दस हजार वर्ष की आयु लेकर नरक में उत्पन्न हुआ। इस प्रकार एक-एक समय बढ़ाते-बढ़ाते नरकगति की उत्कृष्ट आयु तेतीस मागर पूर्ण की । उसके बाद तियंचगति को लिया। नियंचगति में अन्तर्मुहूर्त की आयु लेकर उत्पन्न हुआ और मर गया । उसके वाद उसी आयु को लेकर पुनः तिर्यचगति में उत्पन्न हुआ। इस प्रकार अन्समहर्त में जितने समय होते हैं उसनी बार अन्तमुहर्त की आयु लेकर उत्पन्न हुआ। इसके बाद पूर्वोक्त प्रकार से एक-एक समय बढ़ाते-बढ़ाते सिर्षचगति

In this way, it was born in Narak with increasing lifespans, one at a time, until it reached the highest lifespan of Narakgati, which is thirty-three Magar Purna. After that, it took on the Tiyachgati. It was born and died in Tiyachgati with a lifespan of Antarmuhurta. After that, it was born again in Tiyachgati with the same lifespan. In this way, it was born countless times with a lifespan of Antarmuhurta, as many times as there are moments in Antarmuhurta. After that, it was born in Sirshachgati, increasing one time at a time, as described earlier.
