और दूसरा भाग चारित्रमोहनीय को । दर्शनमोहनीय को प्राप्त पूरा भाग उसकी उत्तर प्रकृति मिथ्यात्व को हो मिलता है, क्योंकि वह सर्वघातिनी है। किन्तु चारित्रमोहनीय के प्राप्त भाग के बारह भेद होकर अनन्तानुबंधी कषाय चतुष्क, अप्रत्याख्यानाधरण कषाय चतुष्क और प्रत्याख्यानावरण कषाय चतुप्क, इन बारह भागों में बंट जाता है । मोहनीय कर्म के देशघाती द्रव्य के दो भाग होते हैं। उनमें से एक भाग कषायमोहनीय का और दूसरा नोकषाय मोहनीय का होता है । कषायमोहनीय के द्रव्य के चार भाग होकर संचलन क्रोध, मान, माया और लोभ को मिल जाते हैं और नोकषाय मोहनीय के पांच भाग होकर क्रमशः तीन वेदों में से किसी एक बध्यमान वेद को, हास्य और रति के युगल तथा शोक और अरति के युगल में से किसी एक युगल को (युगल में से प्रत्येक को एक भाग) तथा भय और जुगुप्सा को मिलते हैं।'
१ (क) उक्कोस रसस्सद मिन्छ अद्ध तु इयरघाईगं । संजलण नोकसाया सेसं अदद्धयं लेति ।।
–पत्रसंग्रह ४३५ मोहनीय कर्म के सर्वघाति द्रव्य का आधा भाग मिसात्य को मिलता है और आधा भाग बारह कषायों को। शेष देशघाति द्रष्य का आधा भाग संज्वलन कषाय को और माधा भाग नोकषाय को मिलता है। (ख) मोहे दुहा चउद्धा य पंचहा वावि बज्ममाणीणं ।।
