साता वेदनीय का निरन्तर उत्कृष्ट बन्धकाल कुछ अधिक आठ वर्ष कम एक पूर्व कोटि बतलाया है।'
एक सौ पचासी सागर तक निरन्तर बन्धने वाली प्रकृतियों के नाम इस प्रकार हैं - 'परघुस्सासे पणिदि तसचउगे-पराघात, उच्छ्वास, पंचेन्द्रिय जाति और त्रसचतुष्क, कुल ये सात प्रकृतियां हैं । इन प्रकृतियों के अध्रुवबन्धिनी होने से कम-से-कम इनका निरन्तर बन्धकाल एक समय है । क्योंकि एक समय के बाद इनको विपक्षी प्रकृतियां इनका स्थान ले लेती हैं तथा उत्कृष्ट निरन्तर बन्धकाल एकसौ पचासी सागर है।
यद्यपि गाथा में उक्त सात प्रकृतियों के निरन्तर बन्ध के उत्कृष्ट समय को एक सौ पचासी सागर बताया है और पंचसंग्रह में भी इसी प्रकार कहा है । लेकिन इसके साथ चार पल्य अधिक और जोड़ना चाहिये । क्योंकि इनकी प्रतिपक्षी प्रकृतियों का जितना अबन्यकाल होता है उतना ही इनका बन्धकाल है। गाथा ५६ में इनकी प्रतिपक्षी स्थावरचतुष्क आदि प्रकृतियों का उत्कृष्ट अबन्धकाल चार पल्य अधिक एकसौ पचासी सागरोपम बतलाया है, अतः इनका बन्ध
