पंचम कर्मप्राथ
बंधइ जिठिई सेसपयडीणं । इन शेष ११६ प्रकृतियों का बंधक मिथ्यादृष्टि को मानने का कारण यह है कि उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध प्रायः संक्लेश परिणामों से ही होता है तथा जघन्य स्थितिबंध उत्कृष्ट विशुद्ध परिणामों से' और सब बंधकों में मिथ्यावृष्टि के हो विशेष संक्लेश पाया जाता है। किन्तु यहां इतना विशेष जानना चाहिए कि इन ११६ प्रकृतियों में से मनुष्यायु और तियंचायु का उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध विशुद्धि से होता है अतः इन दोनों का बंधक संक्लिष्ट परिणामी मिथ्या दृष्टि न होकर विशुद्ध परिणामी मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव होता है ।
प्रश्न--मनुष्यायु का बंध चौथे गुणस्थान तक और तिथंचायु का बंध दूसरे गुणस्थान तक होता है । अतः मनुष्यायु का उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध अविरत सम्यग्दृष्टि को और तिथंचायु का उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध सासादन सम्यग्दृष्टि को होना चाहिए, क्योंकि मिथ्या दृष्टि की अपेक्षा अविरत सम्यग्दृष्टि और सासादन सम्यग्दृष्टि के परिणाम विशेष शुद्ध होते हैं और तिर्यंचायु ब मनुष्यायु के उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध के लिये विशुद्ध परिणामों की आवश्यकता है ।
उत्तर-अविरत सम्या दृष्टि के परिणाम मिथ्यादृष्टि की अपेक्षा विशुद्ध होते हैं, किन्तु उनसे मनुष्यायु का उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध नहीं हो सकता है । क्योंकि मनुष्यायु और तिर्यंचायु की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति तीन पल्योपम की है। यह उत्कृष्ट स्थिति भोगभूमिज मनुष्यों और तिर्यंचों की होती है। लेकिन चौथे गुणस्थानवर्ती देव और नारक मनुष्यायु का बंध करके भी कर्मभूमि में ही जन्म लेते हैं और मनुष्य
