जब उसने लेश्या में भरते हैं और बादर पृथिवीकाय, जलकाय या वनस्पतिकाय में जन्म लेते हैं, तब उन्हें अपर्याप्त अवस्था में तेजोलेश्या होती है। यह नियम ही है कि जिस लेश्या में मरण हो, जनमते समय वही लेइपा होती है।
अपर्याप्त तथा पर्याप्त सूक्ष्म एकेन्द्रिय आदि उपर्युक्त ग्यारह जीव स्थानों में तीन लेश्यायें कही गई है। इसका कारण यह है कि वे सब जीवस्थान, अशुभ परिणाम वाले ही होते हैं इसलिये उनमें शुभ परिणामरूप पिछली तीन लेश्यायें नहीं होती ।
इस जगह जीवस्थानों में बन्ध, उदीरणा, सत्ता और उदय का जो विचार किया गया है, वह मूल प्रकृतियों को लेकर । प्रत्येक जीवस्थान में किसी एक समय में मूल आठ प्रकृतियों में से कितनी प्रकृतियों का बन्ध, कितनी प्रकृतियों की उदीरणा, कितनी प्रकृतियों को सत्ता और कितनी प्रकृतियों का उदय पाया जा सकता है, उसी को दिखाया है १. बन्ध ।
