स्विक धर्मसंन्यासयोग कहा " है । जन-शास्त्र में योग का प्रारम्भ पूर्वसेवा से माना गया है। पूर्व सेवा से अध्यात्म, अध्यात्म से भावना, भावना से ध्यान सपा समता, ध्यान तथा समता से वृत्तिसक्षम भौर वृत्तिसंक्षय से मोक्ष प्राप्त होता है । इसलिये वृत्तिसंक्षय ही मुख्य योग है और पूर्व सेवा से लेकर समता पर्यन्त सभी धर्म-व्यापार सरक्षात् किंवा पसर २३ योग : उपायमा । अष्टावा , जो मिथ्यात्व को त्यागने के लिये तत्पर और सम्यक्रव-प्राप्ति के अभिमुख होता है, उसको पूर्वसेवा तायिक रूप से होती है और सकतन्धक, सिन्धक आदि को पूर्वसेवा अतात्त्विक होती है । अध्यात्म और भावना अपुनर्वस्यक तथा सम्यम्हष्टि को व्यवहारनय से तात्विक और देश-विति तथा सर्व-विरति को निश्चयनय से तारिवक होते हैं। अप्रमत्त, सर्वविरति आदि गुणस्थानों में ध्यान तथा समता जप्तरोत्तर सात्विकरूप से होते हैं । वृत्तिसंक्षय तेर
