Vibyekvara bhatta whose commentary is described in Nos. 3892 & 98 is a comparatively unknown author and the commentary too is preserved only in a fragmentary condition.

ISVARA SUMATI.
Pārvatspariņaya of Isvarasumati is preserved in this library oply in an incomplete form (No. 3694). As far as it is available, we are able to see that the author imitates Kälidāsa successfully. Definite information regading the author is not available. If & conjecture could be made from the name, we may hazard the opinion that he might have had some connection with the family of Samarapurgava Dikṣita. Many persons of that family had the appellation Sumati.
MẶTYUNJAYA.
Mộtyunjaya, the author of the Pradyamnottaracarita (No. 8695) was a scion of the family of the famous Räjacūdāmaņi Dikaita. The author was a pupil of Rājacūļāmaņi also. His father was known as Ghatikāšatam Ayya Dikaita. The date of the author can be determined with a fair degree of accuracy. Rājacüdāmani wrote in 1638 his Tantrabikhāmaại and Mstyuñjaya as his pupil should belong to the middle of the 17th century, A. D.
VENKATANĀTHA.
Prahalādavijaya of Venkatanātha is noticed in No. 3696. Several Venkatanāthas are known to us and it is not known with whom the compiler of the Prabladavijaya is identical. The com.
