It is said that he was a contemporary of Balakavi, author of the Ratnaketūdaya. Uddangakavi's Mallikämäruta is described under Nos. 4541-42. The author lived about the end of the 16th century A. D.
GIRVĀNENDRA DİKȘITA.
Girväqendra Diksita is the third son of Nilakantha Dikgita. His drágárakoba has been described under No. 4611. The author lived in the later part of the 17th century A. D.
Among the Vyāyogas preserved in this library, reference may be made to the Pracandabhairava of Sadasiva (No. 4646) and the Vinatánanda of Govinda (No. 4646).
RĀJACŪRĀ MANI DIKȘITA,
Rajacūdamani wrote in the middle of the 17th century his Kamalinskalahamsa when he was six years of age. The Kamalinikalahamsa is described in Nos. 4648-80.
ALLEGORICAL DRAMAS.
Among the allegorical dramas the Prabodhacandrodaya is the oldest and that is described under Nog. 4389-4406. There are three different commentaries on the Prabodhacandrodaya (i.e.)
(1) By Ghanalyāma (Nos. 4407-8) (2) By Rámadása (Nos. 4409 and 4692)
(3) By Subrahmanya (Nos. 4310 and 4691). The Prabodhacandrodaya is the model upon wbich several works arose. The chief of them is the Sankalpasūryodaya of Vedinta Defika, described under Nos. 4566-68. The commontary of Tatarya on this work is represented by 8 copies, Nos. 4569-71.
