GURURĀMAKAVI. Gururamakavi's Subhadrådhananjaya is described under Nos. 4532 and 38. He was a contemporary of Appaya Dikṣita and was & native of the North Arcot District. His date falls in the middle of the 16th century, A. D.
MAHADEVA.
Mahadeva, the author of the Adbhutadarpaşa, described under No. 4584, seems to have been a native of Tanjore and contemporary of Rämabhadra Dikoita. He was the son of one Krppa Sūri.
RĀJASEKHARA. Rājasekhara was the teacher of king Mahendrapāla of Kanyakubja. Mahendrapāla seems to have lived about the end of the 9th century and the beginning of the 10th Rajasekhara too should have lived then.
The following works of Rajabekhara are preserved in this library:
(1) Bälarāmāyaga (Nos. 4635-89) (2) Viddhas alabbañjikā (Nos. 4673-74)
(3) Karpūramanjar! (Nos. 4683-87.) Among these Bälarāmāyaṇa has been commented upon by an anonymous writer (No. 4640.) The Viddhesālabhañjika has been commented upon by Ghanaśyāma (Nos. 4675-77) and by the wives of Ghanaśyāma, Sundari and Kamala (No. 4878). A person who calls himself the son of Kypa has commented upon the Karpüramañjart (No. 4688.)
UDDANDA KAVI. Uddandakavi was living in the court of a chief of Caliout.
