* Yaugalik as mentioned earlier, some space-points (Akash Pradesh)
| remain in-between the pieces of hair although they have been ,
% fully packed. The space-points in-between may be very small but
9 they arevisible (roopee) in shape. Spaceis not roopee. A gross look
* may not indicate space-points in-between. But when we thinkina A
§ subtle and deep manner, we understand that the absence ofspace-
points in-between is not true. It can be easily understood by an @&
y example—Imagine that a large warehouse has been filled with &
3) Kushmaands(grains). Outwardly it appears full and there isno @%
+ vacant space. But if lemons are stocked, they can also be filledin (4
that warehousealready full ofgrains. After adding lemon-stock, if #9
% it is filled with Sarson seeds, we find that sufficient quantity of 3%
3 Sarson seeds can also be stocked in the already full warehouse &
3) containing Kushmaand and lemon. If it is now filled with fine @
sand at the bed ofthe stream, wefind this can also be added. This
indicates presence ofspace-points in-between. ay
Second example relates to the wall. Outwardly wall has no #&
=¢ vacant space. But pegs, nails can be fixed in it. Incase therehad &
4 been no vacant space-points, it would not have been possible to {J
fix such things. There are vacant space-points in the wall but &
\ they are not grossly visible. os
8 In the discussion relating to Kshetra Palyopam, the space- 6%
©, points in-between the pieces of hair of Yaugalik babies can be &
% imagined in the light of the above examples—In case the space- #%&
points touching the hair pieces are taken out one every moment |
<) (samay),.the period taken to take out all vacant space-point is @
3 called Kshetra Palyopam. This period is, in fact, equal to @
innumerable Utsarpini-Avasarpiniperiod. os
eo Kshetra Palyopam is of two types—Practical (Vyavharik) and ®&
«| Subtle (Sukshma) Kshetra Palyopam. Subtle Kshetra Palyopam Ss
% can be understood as under—Ifall the space-points touching and
not touching the hair-pieces are taken out one each at every
) moment (samay), the total time taken to vacate the well is @&
Subtle Kshetra Palyopam. Its tithe period is also equal to &
