In four blessed protections I take refuge. In Victorious Ones who have overcome
all inner enemies I take refuge. In Liberated Souls I take refuge.
In Renunciates dedicated
to Truth I take refuge. In Pure Teachings uttered by Omniscient Ones I take refuge.
