His Holiness Acārya Pūjyapāda, who graced this earth around 5th century CE, had crafted some valuable gems of Jaina doctrine, including Sarvarthasiddhi and Iṣṭopadeśa. Concise but deep in import, Iṣṭopadeśa unambiguously establishes the glory of the Self. It is an essential reading for the ascetic.
