The Press conference was addressed by Dr. Shugan C. Jain, Director ISSJS, Prof. S.L. Jain, Director, Dr. S. P. Pandey, Asst. Director and Dr. Viney Jain. The Media person met the foreigner students individually and knew about their project undertaken and their experiences about their visit to India for Jaina Studies. In the Press Conference leading scholars were also called to share their views in elevating Parshwanath Vidyapeeth academically as well as financially. Noted among them were Prof. Rewa Prasad Dwivedi, Prof. R.C. Panda, Prof. Kamalesh Dutta Tripathi, Prof. Kamalesh Jain and Prof. Phool Chand Jain. They shared their views about developing the Institute by running intensive courses on Prakrit and Jainology along with some more innovative programmes. From 28th June 2010 to 3rd July 2010 the scholars of ISSJS worked on their individual projects allotted by ISSJS itself. They consulted Library of Parshwanath Vidyapeeth in order to complete their projects. Proposed Seminar: A Series of Seminars on Integrating Modern Science and Spirituality for Social Wellness: A Challenge of 21st Century Our biggest challenge in the 21st century is to integrate the religious, spiritual and scientific knowledge into a generally acceptable holistic world-view to form the basis for an ethical, nonviolent and eco-friendly way of life for maximizing social and personal well being. To facilitate progress towards accomplishing this formidable task, International School for Jain Studies in association with some of the leading Indian universities/institutes is pleased to announce three interdisciplinary seminars cumidiscussion meetings, one each at Delhi, Varanasi and Jaipur with the following objectives.
