Those who say that things are indescribable, are guilty of self-contradiction because their contention that things are indescribable, is opposed to their saying so. Suppose a man says that he always observes the vow of silence. The question is, if he always observes silence, how can he say that he does it. His speaking thus would be breaking his vow. REFUTATIONS OF OBJECTIONS RAISED BY CRITICS AGAINST THE PLURALISTIC POSITION: 1. Some say that the Pluralistic doctrine involves the fallacy of Chhal (fraud). This is not the case because, whereas in the fallacy of Chhal, one word has two meanings, no word in this argument is of such a nature.
