Paumävai One of the eight principal wives of Vasudeva Kanha(1),1 She was daughter of king Hiraņpaņābha of Ariştapura In order to obtain her Kapha had to fight with many of the kings invited on the occasion of her self-choosing (svayamvara) ceremony. She took initiation from Titthayara Aritthapemi, observed asceticism under nun Jakkhiņi for a period of twenty years and then attained emanicipation.3

Paesi (Pradešin) King of the city of Seyaviyā. He was very cruel and had no faith in the independent existence of soul. He regarded the self to be identical with the body.
