Is hitting ever regretted ? Only those who have no self-control, repent! It is a misconception that hitting will improve the child. Every mother who raises her hand is misled by the thought that hitting improves the child's behaviour. It is a delusion that my harsh hand will create a happy, disciplined child. "A sinner needs to be sorry... if one does not commit a sin, then one does not need to be sorry or repent.” When a child is born, the mother is his world... Gradually the child reaches his teens, his world... his feelings... his thoughts undergo changes. How can one expect a two-year-old and a twenty-year-old to have the same feelings for the mother? But every mother is in a state of delusion... even at 20 she expects the son to need her in the same manner when he was 2! Time changes situations and thus, love and feelings undergo transformations as well! One must accept the fact that love changes... feelings
