EXTRINSIC CAUSES & CHARACTERISTICS OF KARMIC BONDAGES
मिथ्यादर्शनाविरतिप्रमादकषाययोगा बन्धहेतवः। तत्वार्थ सूत्र
Wrong belief, non-abstinence, Negligence, passion and activities (activity related to mind,speech & body) are the causes of bondage. The soul owing to its being with passion etc., assimilates matter which is fit to form karmas. This is known as karmic bondage.
