Bhavnagar: Commodore His Highness Maharaja Raol Shri Sir Krishnakumarsinghji Bhavsinhji, K. C. S. I (1938), Maharaja Saheb of Bhavnagar. First Class Ruling Prince in Kathiawar. Born On May 19, 1912. Son of Lt-Col. His Highness Maharaja Shri Sir Bhavsinhji Takhtsinhji, K. C. S. I of Bhavnagar. Married in April, 1931 To Maharani Shri Vijayaba, daughter of His Highness Maharaja Shri Bhojrajji of Gondal, has two sons and three daughters. Education At home under Major Lentairgne and A.P Pattani; joined the Rajkumar College, Rajkot, 1922; proceeded to England for further studies in 1925 and joined the Rev. Brayer's School in Essex and then was admitted to Harrow, returned from England in 1928 & attended lectures in History, Politics, English etc., at the Samaldas College, Bhavnagar. General: Lieutenant In 1937. Colonel In 1945. Hon. Commodore: In the Indian Navy in 1947. Attended Meetings of the Round Table Conference. Toured Various parts of India, England and America. Invested with Ruling Powers on 18th April, 1931. Granted responsible government to his state: January, 1948. Uprajpramukh of Saurashtra Union February, 1948. Acting Rajpramukh June 1948. Governor of Madras 1948-52. Recreations: Riding, Hunting, Requets, Tennis, Polo, Golf, Rowing, Fishing and Cricket. Expired on 2nd April, 1965..
