________________ CHAPTER VI Terapanth In Weave Unto True Jainism. Today Terapanth, a reform side of Jainism 18 enabling the human people to understand the true meaning of the Jain faith-a faith that had realised the attermost ideals of Purity, Peace, Truth and Non-violence. It is not only the philological treatment but it is the mind of the holy scriptures and beseach its followers to remain steadfast to the main principles of the faith. The leading ideals of this religion are to be found in the rules of brotherhood, which is open to all irrespective of caste, creed or colour Everyone penetrating into the high spint of the vows of this religion will surely be inspired to spread his or her knowledge among one's surroundings Thus Terapanth has become successful in showing Jainism, no longer a subject for learned studies, but it has become an effective means to inspire the ordinary people including even the cynics and the sceptics. The rules, and regulations of this faith are easily to be understood; everybody will realise, that he or she must stop serving a foreign person, by being the slave of one's own body-that one should start freeing the soul. Thus Jainism, 15 no longer, only an order of monks and nuns as understood by many, but is the base of daily life for the layman too.
