________________ 165 more than ingratitude In everyday life one has to do favours to others and likewise receive them Gratitude is the art of showing warm friendly appreciation for every kindness however great or small Gratitude kaows Ro limit, yet it is only human to ask everyman to allow no kindness remain unacknowledged, whoever he may be, your father, servant or anybody else Thus it 15 at essential thing in {ife that one should cultivate both at home and outside. Hearts like doors, will open with ease to very little keys' And don't forget that two of these Are "I thank you' and 'If you please'. If, jastead of a gem or even a flower, we could cast the gift of a good thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving, as the angels give. Gratitude is just a prelude to love, fındness and goodness. If only people would pay a little more attention to the following advice of John Wiley, what a different world it would be ? Do all the good you can, By all the means you can. In all the ways you can, In all the places you can Al all the times you can, As long as ever you can • Keep God in your heart, selfless service in your hands, trath and His name on your lips, keep the mind fully occupied, reduce , sleep and tall talk, you are sure to have complete peace of mnd and then taste the superpal happiness of life.
