Vāsupujya became an omniscient world Teacher and began to preach at large. Vāsupujya Tirathankara reached Mandaragiri (near modern Bhāgalapura in Behar) and attained Niravāņa from that place. Rājā Brahma ruled at Dvaravati and from his queen Usa the second Nārāyana Dvipraṣṭa was born, who killed his antagonist and a great oppressor of the time named Taraka. His brother was Achala Baladeva. After 30 sagropamas since the liberation of Vasupujya, Tirthankara Vimala was born. His father named Sukratavarma was a Ksatriya ruler of Kampilya and his mother was known Śyāmā. Before Vimala's birth Jainism lost its sway for one Palya years. as queen (Ibid, Parva 59 Sl. 23.) Prince Vimala having enjoyed the worldly life became a naked śramana and observed hard penances. Vimalanatha became a Kevali Jina and preached Jainism in the Aryakhanda.
