(3) On account of the experience, the Mystic becomes free from doubts. Śrimad expresses this state in his poems especially the line ‘Māraga Sācā mila gaya chhut gaye sandeha.'
(4) Sometimes mystics have the experiences of seeing super-normal visions, listening to superpormal sounds etc. Yogis refer to the unstruck sound ( anahata nāda ) Sudhā Ras or Amrita Ras etc. Śrimad claims to have had the experience of Sudha Ras and the experience of seeing sparks at a particular time during his Sadhanā. One or two references to anāhata nāda by some interpreters. All this only strengthens our thesis that he was a mystic.
(5) Mystics sometimes undergo the exprience of Dark Night of the Soul.' In this state the mystic feels that he is abandoned by God. He undergoes extreme mental torture on account of the thought of being deprived of the superb spiritual treasure of illumination. Patranka 161-162 in Srimad's writings can be said to be the expression of the Dark Night of the Soul.
