પરિશિષ્ટ ન. ૩૬. શ્રી પિરિબંદર રાજ્યની કૅર્ટમાં શાહ ધરમશી ઉત્તમચંદ રે. પિરબંદરનાએ તેમની સ્ત્રી બાઈ અમૃતે દીક્ષા લેવાથી તેણીને કબજે લેવા તથા લગ્નના હક્ક પૂરા કરવા માટે ફરીયાદ કરી હતી, જે બાબતમાં લંબાણ તપાસ કરી વિદ્વાન મેજીસ્ટ્રેટ સાહેબે જૈન શાસ્ત્રો મુજબ રજા સિવાય દીક્ષા લઈ શકાય છે–એવો ચુકાદો આપ્યો હતો.
