King, when Arjuna forced us to flee, the planning of Dronācārya to make Yudhiṣṭthira captive failed. "pūrvamasmāsu bhagneṣu phālgunenāmitaujasā Drone ca moghasankalpe rakṣite ca Yudhisthire." Again in 2nd sloka of aforedaid parva Sanjaya tells Dhṛtarāṣṭra. that all of your soldiers on account of fear and feeling defeated left for cantonment. "sarve vidhvastakavacāstāvakā yudhi nirjitāḥ, rajasvala bhrśodvignā vīkṣamānā diśo daśa." In the first two ślokas of 47th chapter of Abhimanyuvadhaparva Dhṛtarāṣṭra asked Sanjaya that which of his warriors stopped Abhimanyu the son of Subhadra, "tatha praviṣṭam taruņam Saubhadraṁ parājitam, kulānurupaṁ kurvaṇaṁ sangrāmeṣvapalāyinam" ajaneyaiḥ subalibhir yantam aśvaistrihāyanaiḥ. plavamānam ivākāśe ke śūrāḥ samavārayan." In the Ist śloka of 50th chapter of Abhimanyuvadhaparva Sanjaya says: O! king, after killing the important warrior of the enemy side, but having been wounded by his arrows we returned to the cantonment for rest. At that time there was blood all over our bodies. "vayam tu pravaraṁ hatvā teṣām tai sarapīḍitāḥ, niveśāyābhyupāyāmaḥ sāyāhne rudhirokṣitaḥ." In the 17th śloka of the Ist chapter of Karanaparva is mentioned that thereafter Sanjaya came to Hastinapur to narrate all that happened in Kurukṣetra :--- "tatastu Sanjayaḥ sarvam gatvā Nāgapuram drutam,
