First half has 7 Caturmätras and a long letter at the end; second has 5 Caturmatras followed by 1 short letter, 1 Caturmätra and 1 long letter. Thus the two halves have 30 and 27 Matrás respectively. In each half the Caturmätras in odd places must not be a Jagana (ISI). The 6th Caturmätra in the first half must be either Jagana (ISI) or Sarvalaghu (IIII). In the latter case a new word must begin with the 2nd Laghu. But if the 7th Gapa of the 1st half or the 5th Gana of the 2nd are of the Sarvalaghu type, a new word must begin with the 1st Laghu. When the 2nd and the 4th Caturmätras of an Arya are Jaganas (ISI), both preceded and followed by a long letter, it is called Capala. When this happens only in the first half, it is Mukhacapală; when only in the second, it is Jaghanacapală.
