Preface
[The 85 jivas have an audayika disposition. The jivas that bind the uttara prakritis have an audayika disposition, and in them, in accordance with the gunasthanas, wherever the binding of certain prakritis does not occur, in relation to their non-binding, they have, as far as possible, an aushadhika, ksayopashamika, and ksayika disposition. Similarly, the description of the dispositions of the jivas that bind the sthitibandha, etc. has been done in relation to the ogha and adesa.]
[24] Alpabahutvaprarupana - In this anuyogadvara, the alpabahutvaprarupana of the jivas binding the four types of bandha has been done in two ways in relation to the svasthana and parasthana. For example, in relation to the svasthana, the jivas that are non-binders of the four darshanavaraniya prakritis are the least. From them, the jivas that are non-binders of nidra-pracala are specially more. From them, the jivas that are non-binders of the sthyanatrika are specially more. From them, the jivas that bind the same sthyanatrika are infinite times more. From them, the jivas that bind the nidra-pracala are specially more. From them, the jivas that bind the four darshanavaraniya prakritis are specially more. Just as the alpabahutvaprarupana of the darshanavaraniya karma's svasthana has been said, similarly the alpabahutvaprarupana of the svasthana of all karmas has been done. In relation to the parasthana alpabahutvaprarupana, the jivas that bind the aharadvika are the least. From them, the jivas that bind the tirthankara prakriti are innumerable times more, from them the jivas that bind the manusayayu are innumerable times more, from them the jivas that bind the narakaayu are innumerable times more, from them the jivas that bind the devaayu are innumerable times more, from them the jivas that bind the devagati are countless times more, from them the jivas that bind the narakagati are countless times more, from them the jivas that bind the vaikriyika sarira are specially more, from them the jivas that bind the tiryagaayu are infinite times more. In this way, the alpabahutvaprarupana of all the bondable prakritis has been done. Similarly, the alpabahutvaprarupana of the jivas that bind the sthiti, anubhaga, and pradesha bandha has been done in detail through ogha and adesa in this anuyogadvara.
Bhujaakarabandha - After describing the sthitibandha through the twenty-four anuyogadvara, Acharya Bhutabali has also given a special description of the sthitibandha through the three anuyogadvara of bhujaakaara, padanikshepa, and vriddhi. Binding a small sthiti in the first samaya and then binding a greater sthiti in the next samaya is called bhujaakaara bandha. Through the bhujaakaara bandha, the alpatara, avasthita, and avaktavya bandhas are also included. Binding a greater sthiti in the first samaya and then binding a smaller sthiti in the second samaya is called alpatara bandha. Binding the same sthiti in the second samaya as was bound in the first samaya is called avasthita bandha. When the binding of the intended karma is lost, binding it again is called avaktavya bandha. The samutkirtan, svamitva, kala, antara, bhangavicaya of various jivas in relation to this bhujaakaara bandha, as well as the bhagabhaga, parimana, kshetra, sparsana,
