Teyāśarīralambho ukkaṣṇeṇa du tirikkhajoniṇisu. Gāuya jahaṇṇohi ṇiraeṣu a joyanukkaṣṇaṃ || 74 ||
The auspicious body (teja-śarīra) of the pañcendriya tiryañca, pañcendriya tiryañca paryāpta, and pañcendriya tiryañca yonimati beings is the ultimate (ukkaṣṭha) material substance. The range of the minimum (jaghanya) clairvoyance (avadhi-jñāna) of the hellish beings is a gāvūti, and the maximum (ukkaṣṭha) range is a yojana.
Ukkaṣṭha māṇuseṣu ya māṇusa-tericchae jahaṇṇohi || Ukkaṣṭha logamettaṃ paḍivādī teṇa parampaḍivādī || 75 ||
The maximum (ukkaṣṭha) clairvoyance (avadhi-jñāna) is possessed by humans, and the minimum (jaghanya) clairvoyance is possessed by both humans and animals. The maximum (ukkaṣṭha) range of clairvoyance is the entire universe. This (clairvoyance) is the propounder, and the one beyond it is the supreme propounder.

How many types of the karmas that obstruct the manaḥparyāya-jñāna (telepathic knowledge) are there? || 76 || There are two types of the karmas that obstruct the manaḥparyāya-jñāna - the ṛjumati-manaḥparyāya-jñānāvaraṇīya and the vipulamati-manaḥparyāya-jñānāvaraṇīya.
Jaṃ taṃ ujjumattimaṇappajjavaṇāṇāvaraṇīyaṃ ṇāma kammaṃ taṃ tivihā - ujjugaṃ māṇogadaṃ jāṇadi ujjugaṃ vacigadaṃ jāṇadi ujjugaṃ kāyagadaṃ jāṇadi || 78 ||
That which is called the ṛjumati-manaḥparyāya-jñānāvaraṇīya karma, it is of three types - it knows the thoughts originating in the mind, it knows the speech originating in the speech organ, and it knows the bodily activities originating in the body.
