व्यन्तर और भवनवासियोंका जघन्य अवधिज्ञान पच्चीस घनयोजन प्रमाण क्षेत्रको और ज्योतिषियोंका वह जघन्य अवधिज्ञान संख्यात धनयोजन प्रमाण क्षेत्रको विषय करता है ॥ ६८ ॥
व्यन्तर और भवनवासियोंका वह जघन्य अवधिज्ञान कालकी अपेक्षा कुछ कम एक दिनको विषय करता है । इतना यहां विशेष समझना चाहिये कि ज्योतिषी देवोंकी जघन्य अवधिज्ञान संख्यात घनयोजन प्रमाण क्षेत्रको विषय करता हुआ भी उक्त व्यन्तर और भवनवासियोंके क्षेत्रसे संख्यातगुणित क्षेत्रको विषय करता है। उनके कालकी अपेक्षा ज्योतिषियोंके अवधिज्ञानका काल अधिक है।

दस प्रकारके भवनवासियोंमें असुरकुमारोंके अवधिज्ञानका उत्कृष्ट क्षेत्र असंख्यात करोड़ घनयोजन प्रमाण है तथा शेष आठ प्रकारके व्यन्तर, नौ प्रकारके भवनवासी और पांच प्रकारके ज्योतिषी देवोंके अवधिज्ञानका वह उत्कृष्ट क्षेत्र असंख्यात हजार घनयोजन प्रमाण है। इनका अवधिज्ञान नीचेके क्षेत्रको अल्प मात्रामें तथा तिरछे क्षेत्रको अधिक मात्रामें ग्रहण करता है। असुरकुमारोंके अवधिज्ञानका काल उत्कृष्ट रूपसे असंख्यात वर्ष प्रमाण तथा शेष व्यन्तर, भवनवासी
और ज्योतिषी देवोंके भी अवधिज्ञानका वह उत्कृष्ट काल असंख्यात वर्ष प्रमाण ही है। परन्तु विशेष इतना है कि असुरकुमारोंके उस उत्कृष्ट कालसे उनका यह उत्कृष्ट काल संख्यातगुणा हीन है।
