5, 5, 64] Paryāptinogoddāre anekasaṃṭhānasaṃṭhitāni
[703 The avadhi (range of knowledge) is of many types - deśāvadhi, paramāvadhi, sarvāvadhi, hīyamāna, vardhhamāna, avasthita, anavasthita, anugāmī, ananugāmī, sapratipātī, apratipātī, ekakṣetra and anekakṣetra. || 57 ||
As for the kṣetra (spatial extent), they are indeed of many types of saṃṭhāna (form). || 58 || The names such as śrīvatsa, kalaśa, śaṃkha, svastika (sāṃthiya), and nandāvarta are to be known. || 59 ||
As for the kāla (time), the units such as samaya, āvalī, kṣaṇa, lava, muhūrta, dina, pakṣa, māsa, ṛtu, ayana, saṃvatsara, yuga, pūrva, parva, palyopama and sāgaropama are to be known. || 60 ||
The minimum avagāhanā (penetration) is definitely for the sūkṣma nigoda jīva. Whatever is the size of the body, that is the minimum kṣetra of the ōhī (range of knowledge). || 61 ||
The number of āvalīs in an aṃgula is innumerable. An āvalī is the size of an aṃgula. || 62 ||
Where the kṣetra is of the size of a ghanahasta, the kāla is of the size of an antarmuhūrta. Where the kṣetra is of the size of a yojana, the kāla is of the size of a bhinnamuhūrta. Where the kāla is slightly less than a dina, the kṣetra is of the size of 25 ghanayojanas. || 63 ||
In Bharata, the kāla is half a māsa; in Jambūdvīpa, it is a full māsa; in the Manuṣyaloka, it is a vāsa (lifetime); and in Raurava, it is the size of a vāsa. || 64 ||
