________________ ५२ ] छक्खंडागम देव इन गतियोंसे आये हुए जीव तीर्थंकर हो सकते हैं, अन्य गतियोंसे आये हुए नहीं । चक्रवर्ती, नारायण प्रतिनारायण और बलभद्र केवल देवगतिसे आये हुए जीव ही होते हैं, शेष गतियोंसे आये हुए नहीं । चक्रवर्ती मरण कर स्वर्ग और नरक इन दो गतियोंमें जाते हैं और कर्मक्षय करके मोक्ष भी जाते हैं । बलभद्र स्वर्ग या मोक्षको जाते हैं । नारायण-प्रतिनारायण मरण कर नियमसे नरक ही जाते हैं, इत्यादि । तत्पश्चात् बतलाया गया है कि सातवें नरकका निकला जीव तिर्यंचही हो सकता है, मनुष्य नहीं । छठे नरकसे निकले हुए तिर्यंच और मनुष्य दोनों हो. सकते हैं और उनमें भी कितनेही जीव सम्यक्त्व और संयमासंयम तक को धारण कर सकते हैं, पर संयमको नहीं । पांचवें नरकसे निकले हुए जीव मनुष्यभवमें संयमको भी धारण कर सकते हैं, पर उस भवसे मोक्ष नहीं जा सकते । चौथे नरक से निकले हुए जीव मनुष्य होकर और संयम धारण कर केवलज्ञानको उत्पन्न करते हुए निर्वाणको भी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। तीसरे नरक से निकले हुए जीव तीर्थंकर भी हो सकते हैं । इसी प्रकारसे शेष गतियोंसे आये हुए जीवोंके सम्यक्त्व, संयमासंयम, संयम और केवलज्ञान उत्पन्न कर सकने- न कर सकने आदिका बहुत उत्तम विवेचन करके इस चूलिकाको समाप्त किया गया है । इस प्रकार नौ चूलिकाकी समाप्तिके साथ जीवस्थान नामक प्रथम खंड समाप्त होता है । Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only ★ www.jainelibrary.org.
