502] Exposition of Bondage and Non-Bondage in Chakkhandagama
[253] According to the doctrine of darsana (perception), the exposition of the chakshu-darsani (those with physical vision) and achakshu-darsani (those without physical vision) is like a flood up to the Tirthankaras. This should be understood.
254] The special point is, what is the bondage and non-bondage of the sata-vedaniya (pleasant feeling)?
255] From mithya-drsti (false belief) up to ksina-kasaya-vitaraga-chadumasthas (those with destroyed passions and devoid of attachment), they are bondages. These are bondages, there are no non-bondages.
256] The exposition of the avadhidarsani (those with clairvoyant vision) is like that of the avadhijnanis (those with clairvoyant knowledge).
257] The exposition of the kevala-darsani (those with omniscient vision) is like that of the kevalajnanis (those with omniscient knowledge).
258] According to the leshya (psychic color) doctrine, the exposition of the krsna-leshya, nila-leshya, and kapota-leshya is like that of the asanyatas (the non-restrained ones).
259] For the tejas-leshya and padma-leshya beings, what is the bondage and non-bondage of the five jnanavaraniya (knowledge-obscuring), six darsanavaraniya (perception-obscuring), sata-vedaniya (pleasant feeling), four samjvalana (passions), purusa-veda (male sex), hasyа (laughter), rati (attachment), bhaya (fear), jugupsa (disgust), deva-gati (celestial state), pancendriya-jati (five-sensed beings), vaikriyika (transformable), taijasa (fiery) and karmana (karmic) bodies, samacaturastra-samsthana (equilateral quadrangular form), vaikriyika-sarira-angopanga (limbs and parts of the transformable body), varna (color), gandha (odor), rasa (taste), sparsa (touch), deva-gati-prayogyanupurvi (sequence of celestial birth), aguru-laghu (heavy-light), upaghatа (injury), paraghatа (destruction by others), uccvasa (respiration), prasasta-vihayogati (auspicious celestial movement), trasa (mobile), badara (gross), paryapta (complete), pratyeka-sarira (individual body), sthira (stable), subha (auspicious), subhaga (handsome), sussvara (melodious voice), adeyа (respected), yasah-kirti (fame and glory), nirmana (creation), uccagottra (high lineage) and the five antarayas (obstructive karmas)?
260] From mithya-drsti up to the apramatta-samyatas (the vigilant restrained ones), they are bondages. These are bondages, there are no non-bondages.
261] The flood (exposition) of the vedaniya (feeling) is like that.
262] The exposition of the asata-vedaniya (unpleasant feeling) is like a flood.
