[459]
1. Charitralabdhi (attainment of right conduct) is infinitely more for the samayika-chhedopasthapana-shuddhi-samyata (the ascetic who has attained equanimity, suspension of passions, and purity) than for the appabahuganugami (the one who follows the path of the few or the many). [170]
2. The charitralabdhi of the sukshmaSamparaya-shuddhi-samyata (the ascetic who has attained subtle equanimity and purity) is infinitely more than that of the samayika-chhedopasthapana-shuddhi-samyata. [171]
3. The charitralabdhi of the yathakhyata-vihara-shuddhi-samyata (the ascetic who has attained the state of right knowledge and conduct) is infinitely more than that of the sukshmaSamparaya-shuddhi-samyata, but not the highest. [172-174]
4. According to the darshanamargana (the path of right faith), the avadhi-darshanis (clairvoyant perception) are the least, [175] followed by the chakshur-darshanis (visual perception) which are innumerable times more, [176] then the kevala-darshanis (omniscient perception) which are infinitely more, [177] and the achakshur-darshanis (non-visual perception) which are also infinitely more. [178]

[185]
6. According to the bhavya-margana (the path of spiritual development), the abhavya-siddhikas (the non-spiritual) are the least, [186] followed by the neither-bhavya-nor-abhavya-siddhas (the liberated ones who were neither spiritual nor non-spiritual) who are infinitely more, [187] and the bhavya-siddhikas (the spiritually developed ones) who are infinitely more. [188]
7. According to the samyaktva-margana (the path of right faith), the samyag-mithyadrishti (those with mixed right and wrong faith) are the least, [189] followed by the samyag-drishti (those with right faith) who are innumerable times more, [190] the siddhas (the liberated ones) who are infinitely more, [191] and the mithyadrishti (those with wrong faith) who are also infinitely more. [192]
8. Additionally, in the present context, the following are also said to be fewer or more in number:
- The sasana-samyag-drishti (those with right faith through scriptural teachings) are the least, [193]
- The samyag-mithyadrishti are countless times more, [194]
- The upasamasamyag-drishti (those with right faith through suppression of passions) and the kshayika-samyag-drishti (those with right faith through destruction of karmas) are innumerable times more. [195-196]
