[328] The Abode of Living Beings in the Ṣaṭkhaṇḍāgama
[118] How many destinies do the Tiryañca (animals) with a lifespan of one to nine years and with right belief (samyagdṛṣṭi) attain after death?
[119] They go to three destinies - the Tiryañca-gati (animal realm), the Manuṣya-gati (human realm), and the Deva-gati (celestial realm).
[120] While going to the Tiryañca realm, they go to the Ekendriya (one-sensed) and Pañcendriya (five-sensed) beings, but not to the Vikaledriya (imperfect-sensed) beings.
[121] Among the Ekendriya, they go to the Bādara (gross) Pṛthivīkāyika (earth-bodied), Bādara Jalakaāyika (water-bodied), and Bādara Vanaspatikāyika (plant-bodied) Pratyekasarīraparyāpta (individual-bodied complete) beings, but not to the Aparyāpta (incomplete) ones.
[122] Among the Pañcendriya, they go to the Saṃjñī (conscious) beings, but not to the Asaṃjñī (unconscious) ones.
[123] Among the Saṃjñī, they go to the Garbhopapanna (embryonic) beings, but not to the Sammūrchima (spontaneously born) ones.
[124] Among the Garbhopapanna Saṃjñī Pañcendriya, they go to the Paryāpta (complete) beings, but not to the Aparyāpta (incomplete) ones.
[125] Among the Paryāpta Garbhopapanna Saṃjñī Pañcendriya, they go to those with a lifespan of Saṃkhyāta (countable) years as well as those with a lifespan of Asaṃkhyāta (uncountable) years.
[126] Among the Manuṣya (humans), they go to the Garbhopapanna (embryonic) beings, but not to the Sammūrchima (spontaneously born) ones.
[127] Among the Garbhopapanna Manuṣya, they go to the Paryāpta (complete) beings, but not to the Aparyāpta (incomplete) ones.
[128] Among the Paryāpta Garbhopapanna Manuṣya, they go to those with a lifespan of Saṃkhyāta (countable) years as well as those with a lifespan of Asaṃkhyāta (uncountable) years.
