छक्खंडागमे जीवद्वाणं
केई जाइस्सरा केई सोऊण केई वेदना हिभूदा || ८ |
कितने ही नारकी जीव जातिस्मरणसे, कितने ही धर्मोपदेशको सुनकर और कितने ही वेदना से अभिभूत होकर प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं ॥ ८ ॥

इस प्रकार ऊपरकी तीन पृथिवियों में नारकी जीव उपर्युक्त तीन कारणोंके द्वारा प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं ॥ ९ ॥
चसु मासु पुढवीसु णेरड्या मिच्छाइट्ठी कदिहि कारणेहि पढमसम्मत्तमुप्पादेति ? ॥ १० ॥
नीचेकी चार पृथिवियोंमें नारकी मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव कितने कारणोंसे प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं ? ॥ १० ॥

दोहि कारणेहि पढमसम्मत्तमुप्पादेति ॥ ११ ॥
नीचेकी चार पृथिवियोंमें नारकी मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव दो कारणोंसे प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं ॥ ११ ॥

चूंकि नीचेकी चार पृथिवियोंमें देवोंका जाना सम्भव नहीं है, अत एव वहां धर्मश्रवणके विना शेष दो ही कारणोंसे नारकी जीव प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं ।
तिरिक्खमिच्छाइट्ठी पढमसम्मत्तमुप्पादेति ॥ १३ ॥
तिर्यंच मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं ॥ १३ ॥
उप्पादेंता कम्हि उप्पादेंति ? ॥ १४ ॥
प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करनेवाले तिर्यंच उसे किस अवस्था में उत्पन्न करते हैं ? ॥ १४ ॥ पंचिदिएस उप्पादेति णो एइंदिय - विगलिंदिए । १५ ।।
तिर्यंच जीव पंचेन्द्रियोंमें ही प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करते हैं, एकेन्द्रियों और विकले - न्द्रियोंमें उस नहीं उत्पन्न करते ॥ १५ ॥
पंचिदिएस उप्पादेंता सण्णीसु उप्पादेति णो असण्णी ।। १६ ।।
पंचेंन्द्रियोंमें भी प्रथम सम्यक्त्वको उत्पन्न करनेवाले तिर्यंच जीव संज्ञी जीवों में ही उसे उत्पन्न करते हैं, न कि असंज्ञियोंमें ॥ १६ ॥
