[१३७ प्रथम पृथिवीसे लेकर सातवीं पृथिवी तक नारकियोंमें मिथ्यादृष्टि जीव कितने काल होते हैं ? नाना जीवोंकी अपेक्षा सर्व काल होते हैं ॥ ४० ॥
एगजीवं पडुच्च जहण्णण अंतोमुहत्तं ॥ ४१ ॥
एक जीवकी अपेक्षा उक्त पृथिवियोंके नारकी मिथ्यादृष्टि जीवोंका जघन्य काल अन्तर्मुहूर्त मात्र है ॥ ४१ ॥
उक्कस्सेण सागरोवम तिण्णि सत्त दस सत्तारस बावीस तेत्तीस सागरोवमाणि ।।
उक्त सातों पृथिवियोंके नारकी मिथ्यादृष्टियोंका उत्कृष्ट काल क्रमश: एक, तीन, सात, दस, सतरह, बाईस और तेतीस सागरोपम प्रमाण है ॥ ४२ ॥
उनका यह उत्कृष्ट काल विवक्षित पृथिवीके नारक जीवोंकी उत्कृष्ट आयुके अनुसार समझना चाहिये।
सासणसम्मादिट्ठी सम्मामिच्छादिट्ठी ओघं ॥ ४३ ॥
सातों पृथिवियोंके सासादनसम्यग्दृष्टि और सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टि जीवोंका नाना और एक जीवकी अपेक्षा जघन्य व उत्कृष्ट काल ओघके समान है ॥ ४३ ॥
असंजदसम्मादिट्ठी केवचिरं कालादो होति ? णाणाजीवं पडुच्च सव्बद्धा ।। ४४॥
सातों पृथिवियोंमें नारक असंयतसम्यग्दृष्टि जीव कितने काल होते हैं ? नाना जीवोंकी अपेक्षा सर्व काल होते हैं । ४४ ॥

उक्कस्सं सागरोवमं तिण्णि सत्त दस सत्तारस बावीस तेत्तीसं सागरोवमाणि देसूणाणि ॥ ४६॥
सातों पृथियोंके नारकी असंयतसम्यग्दृष्टि जीवोंका उत्कृष्ट काल क्रमशः कुछ कम एक, तीन, सात, दस, सतरह, बाईस और तेतीस सागरोपम है ॥ ४६ ॥
यहां कुछ कमका प्रमाण प्रथम पृथिवीसे सातवीं पृथिवी तक पर्याप्तियोंकी पूर्णता, विश्राम और विशुद्धि सम्बन्धी तीन अन्तर्मुहूर्त तथा सातवीं पृथिवीमें छह ( सूत्र ३९ के अनुसार ) अन्तर्मुहूर्त समझना चाहिये।
