[118] In the Chakshandagama, the extent of the sphere of the Jivas (souls)
[1, 4, 113] They have touched an innumerable part of the universe. || 112 ||
They have touched a little less than twelve out of fourteen parts. || 113 ||
The Napumsaka-vedis (neuter-sensed) and Samyagdrishti (right-believers) Jivas have touched a little less than twelve out of fourteen parts with respect to the past and future time. || 113 ||
How much area have the Samyagmithyadrishti (mixed right and wrong believers) Jivas touched? They have touched an innumerable part of the universe. || 114 ||
How much area have the Asanjata-samyagdrishti (unsuppressed right-believers) and Sanjata-asanjata (suppressed-unsuppressed) Jivas touched? They have touched an innumerable part of the universe. || 115 ||
They have touched a little less than six out of fourteen parts. || 116 ||
From the Pramatta-sanjata (careless-suppressed) up to Aniyatti (non-retrogression), the extent of the sphere of the Jivas is like the Ogha (flood). || 117 ||
From the Apagata-vedis (devoid of senses) in the Aniyatti (non-retrogression) up to Ayogikevali (non-yogic omniscient), the extent of the sphere of the Jivas is like the Ogha (flood). || 118 ||
The Sajogikevali (with-yoga omniscient) Jivas, the extent of their sphere is like the Ogha (flood). || 119 ||
Although the description of the sphere of the Sajogikevali Jivas could have been known from the previous sutra, yet this separate sutra is to highlight the speciality of their sphere in comparison to the previously mentioned Jivas.
By the analogy of the Kashayas (passions), from the Mithyadrishti (wrong-believers) up to Aniyatti (non-retrogression), the extent of the sphere is like the Ogha (flood). || 120 ||
